The diamonds right, the gems are waiting their times.
And yes, I know they can win. In fact they will. But think about it for a moment. Why do the gems hate their kind?
Because they are imperialist bastards. Humans are too. We are already gearing up to colonize mars. And though the gems are better at space travel but humans have way better weapons.
If you think about it, a warp drive would be as as valuable to us as an AK-47 would be to the gems. They may have kicked our butts last time when we where using swards like them, but now that we have perfected guns. If you actually stop and think, the gems and modern humans are kind of a perfect match. And even then a carpet bombing and a diamond saw would leave the gems with little chose but to trade with the humans.
Like I said I do like the show, but humans are just as bad as the gems.
