Back from RMFC
9 years ago
Sooo I got back from Colorado last night. Holy shit. Last year RMFC blew me away, and this year was no different, despite the weird issues the convention was having. I met so many amazing people, and really had the time of my life, even though I was inebriated through a big chunk of the convention XD
It feels really weird to be back in California... The PCD is hitting hard. Even though this is my home and I love it here, I feel like I don't belong here anymore. I am seriously considering moving to Colorado.. every time I go there I feel like I'm home, and I meet so many wonderful people and have such a great time. It's a scary thought to leave everything I know here, but I feel like it's time for a major life change. I have to force myself outside my comfort zone in order to grow as a person. Realistically I'd need at least a year to save up and prepare for such a big move... But I think I'm gonna start the process.
Cheers.

it's so lovely ; ;
When I moved out to Minnesota, I paid about a grand for the truck and tow dolly for my car, after gas and other fees were considered. The big thing is that you get slammed for one way trips but local moves are way cheaper. Anyway, just thought I'd share. Budget and Penske are typically cheaper than U-Haul so I would recommend those first. Also, beware of "young driver fees"
Selling a car is really daunting omg... But if you sold it before you moved it would make moving a lot easier (and cheaper!)
And yeah, it's scary but I know it's necessary... I really love my car, but I could die if I tried driving it in snow XD and I don't think the soft top would do very well either. Time to get a Subaru I guess :/
Haha I was gonna suggest a Subaru! Maybe you'll end up loving it even more... They've got a lot of brand loyalty!
Glad you had a great time!
