ive wondered how much the outfit helps/hinders the image. a wetsuit covers a lot, but it does convey a theme.

That is a good point and a great question to debate. I sometimes think a nice tight suit can be almost as good as naked and it can leave the viewer to use their imagination and be more "involved" in the artwork. OF course you could compromise and do a shorty wetsuit without the long legs and with short sleeves. Something like a buff shark or orca would be cool or an otter with a big sexy tail hanging out the back.
