[Telegram] [Form on my page] [Just note me lol] I am so excited and scared at the same time. It will be a big challenge for me, I am going to rent an apartment and rely on my paintings with keeping it. I am sure I can get money to pay rent but there will be more expenses and I hope I will be able to manage everything.
Every commission and YCH I do helps so feel free to order arts from me ^.^
FA+

best of luck! ^^
It's good to have a support :) I can't wait to live on my own and create my art without anybody interrupting me :D
i czymam!
Dzięki ^^
I do have a little part-time next to it, because I need some stable income. My boyfriend is studying right now and also has a little part time job.
Extra Money from creating art is awesome, but as hard as it might sound, I would not rely on art only.
You always need to pay rent and you always need food and insurance and furniture and and and :/ What if you have one or two months many customers, but the next 3 months only very few? :O
The problem we had with finding a home for us, was that most landlords only want to have people with jobs, like (I know that sounds horrible) "real jobs". They often don´t understand that creating art is a job too. They want to play it save, and therefor you need a job where you´ll get your money for sure. I think it´s understandable for the landlords, they want to get their money too.
And here they always wanted the paychecks of the last 3 months too plus employment conctract and contact informations about the employer. :/ Well at least that´s how it works in germany.
What about your job you got a while ago? If you keep that plus the extra Art money you´ll be more than fine :)
I use my art money for extra stuff like travelling, nice clothes or going to a restaurant. 50% of it goes to my bank for saving too, so if something gets broken, e.g. something on my car, I can easily pay it with my art saving money. ^^
I hope my comment does help you a little and does not upset you ^^
I wouldn't rely only o my art if I go alone, but my boyfriend will be with me. He is a student and he has a support from his family. That's why I believe everything will be ok.
I had the job for a while but boss was very stingy person. He paid me less than minimum wage for a month and half!! It was an equivalent of 320$ :/ In Poland its hard to find a good job and a boss who is not an idiot. Also, they wanted to hire me because one female worker wanted to have baby. Then something happened with her, she was sick and her doctor told her she shouldnt have a baby in next 6 months. They didn't want me there anymore because she could work normally.
I just gathered some informations about jobs avalible in my town and around and about money I can earn and compared it with what I make off commissions... It looks like I have better perspectives when making YCHs than working normally. It's not a huge income but still better than minimum wage here!
I have one friend who lives completely off her art because she probably noticed the same. She is better than me and she makes more money but I can see its possible and maybe I will be on similar level soon :)
The only thing I'm afraid of is the fact that something bad can happen to FurAffinity becaue it's easiest to earn money here. I am also active in facebook art groups, deviantart etc. but FA is still the best for commissions.
I found very cheap and small apartment so I hope everything will be okay :3
