Iirc, pikachu tried frenching ash after the barbarian ate an omelette with ketchup on it, in the early seasons. Since then, pikachu is in love with ketchup.(could make some interesting comic ideas, for sure.)

What scares me is Pikachus can touch a tiny stem and it develops instantly into a giant tree? Forget electric attacks, that's scary stuff right there. Oh yeah, the song's predictably cute too. :x)
