'Proud to be a Furry!' & 'Less talk, more hugs!'

I found out that my dad has Parkinson's Disease yesterday. He will turn 81 this December.

*Sigh* That is a tough life.

Need a hug.... >.<

Duncan's aunt Margaret also has Parkinson's Disease and is in her late 70's. Fortunately, with the medications they have now, it's very treatable. I am hoping the best for your dad. *Hugs*

*Hugs* I know that feeling... My uncle from my dads side has advanced Parkinson's and is close to passing. Three weeks ago the VA hospital diagnosed my father with early stages of it. I see my doctor next month for my annual thyroid testing, and will let him know of the new developments. When there is more than one relative with it, they're odds that it may be genetic.
