I will not waste much words: as many have learned, the regions of Lazio and Marche were struck by a violent earthquake.
The countries that have been hit hardest by the earthquake count in total 200 dead.
The Italian services have made available toll free numbers and contacts in order to help the many victims of the disaster, particularly donations. For those who want to get information about the places devastated by the earthquake from abroad can contact the number 0039-06-82 88 88 50.
Poste Italiane and the Italian Red Cross have set up a bank account for donations addressed "Poste Italiane with Italian Red Cross earthquake of August 24, 2016"; the IBAN of the account is IT38R0760103000000000900050.
For those who are abroad on current account is always the same, including the IBAN and the BIC/SWIFT code (to send transfers from abroad) is BPPIITRRXXX. The Red Cross has also activated the phone number and email address for the service 06 5510 aiuti[at]cri.it donations.
