FA+

Or anything.
A thousand bucks per class is totally not enough money to keep them above water.
(Granted, I'm not sure how much the school itself pays them, but it's like if you're getting, 50(im being cheap here) dollars per book. 30 kids per class. 3 different classes a semester, that's 4500 dollars off books alone.)
Also I'd so fucking argue that professor. Fuck you, I PAID for this class, I AM getting in, with or without this book. I didn't sign your contract saying I needed the book >C
That's a little bit over 20k! Aaaa D;
So happy she got it for free tho :/ fuck that teacher.
you'd think with sky high tuition fees they'd actually provide SOMETHING for you even if it's like..
idk like library access with enough copies of textbooks in the library to actually provide for the class?
even if you had to pay a library fee.. or if it was just reference books? sigh
Then shipping got involved and it almost hit 400 and I was like 8I MMMMHG....
Then come to find they don't have any of the books I wanted used, so the price shot up to 519 and I DIED INSIDE.
And ikr??? Like damn son, I just dropped 8k on classes, why do the books have to be stupidly high priced too. Welcome to America, where to get a job you need to have experience first, so you need a job before you get a job. And if you want a BETTER job, you have to put your ass in debt for 10 years. Yeeeyyyyy.
God this is so fucked up. :I
I'm a physics student so like nobody else takes out books cause a lot of ppl dont do physics
cause they care abt physics they just need A Degree to get into banking or whatever? so
there's always books left me me ha
but ye like english/politics students here have to actually drop cash money on books often,
and art students have to buy their own materials and on top of £9k tuition a year and then
living expenses.. even WITH the relatively generous loan system we have? it's just so
much debt... they're dropping grants for financially deprived kids now as well and turning
those into MORE LOANS and reducing some loans and it's like please. stop. bleeding. us. dry.
academics here keep being like 'yo keep this up and we'll end up like USA' but politicians
don\t care bc they're from rich families or literally are born from nobility so they don't
know what it's like to struggle :I
like man fuck this elitist system?? so much.
