[Personal] I have been infected
All of the things are going to be delayed.
I have bedbugs. Minimum population of 2 (one live one remaining), maximum population of I have no idea, but probably not that many. Likely population of 5, judging by bite rate.
Bites started in early July, about twice per week. The bug I found was an adult, possibly the only adult. I've been looking for evidence, but it's possible that I haven't found any because the population is too low or the rest are all nymphs. If my estimates are correct, there shouldn't have been enough feedings for a second generation to grow up and begin breeding yet.
Also, I might be allergic. One of the bites on my calf is swelling really badly, to the point that it hurts to walk on.
Deep cleaning has been initiated. The exterminator is coming on Wednesday. I'm creating a clean zone in the other room by marking the border with tape and soaking the area with pesticide. (I know it doesn't kill them, but it's unlikely that the area is already infected since the area is clear and I don't spend much time over there. I'm creating a border that will repel them away from the cleaned things.) White bags are for transporting infected items. Black bags for clean. I've taken the day off from first-job and now I'm off to rent a steam cleaner from Home Depot and do a lot of laundry.
If I have so much as sat on your couch within the past two months, you may want to consider an inspection, or at the very least, washing all your things.
Related: I wonder if this is why Beanie started peeing on the bed in the mornings. He stopped after I put on the plastic sheet, which would create a barrier and mask the scent.

And this is why I have four jobs.
