Fuck yes it is, and even if other people say it isn't, they can fuck themselves with a vegetable peeler. Keep drawing and no matter what anyone tells you don't ever stop until you voluntarily come to the decision to without outside influence.

i think it comes down to two questions. Do you enjoy making your art, and do others enjoy seeing your art? I for one do.

About a year ago I pulled all my stories from FA because I felt nobody really wanted to read them. I had a friend who reminded me that a writer writes. They have to have an outlet for their stories.

The same goes for an artist. You don't have to be Rembrandt to be an artist at heart and if you are an artist, you make art. Yes it's encouraging to be liked on sites like this, and FA can be fickle just like other online sites, but remember the most critical of viewers here usually can't draw a stick figure.

So enjoy what you do, try to ignore those who want your art to be something it's not and remember you have people who like your art for what it is; creative, fun and imaginative.

What matters is what matters to you. There have been countless times when I become discouraged in my art, sometimes more recently than you think. But I just plug away because you won't know how well recieved it is until you do

All art is worth it.
