LCD and lightguns. How bad is it?

The Key of Joy is disobedience Now that I have a PS1, I want my collection to be complete and bring along the GunCon along with the first Time Crisis (HUGE TIME CRISIS CRUSH!). However, the TV I have in the living room is an LCD one. I know a light run required feedback from a CRT monitor but is it really that bad with an LCD?
If anyone knows this and can enlighten me :3
