I haven't even seen Zootopia, but I fucking love Finnick. He's the best character IMO. His voice is hilarious, and also the dialogue between him and Nick seems designed to appeal to babyfurs. There's a lot of vague fetishy stuff in the movie, and I love that.

Say, have you read this fanfic called Mulligan? It's a really damn good fanfic involving Finnick and the first Zootopia thing I've read.

If you look at the deleted scenes from when nick was the main character you can even see him in diapers, looks like he was planned to have a bigger role then he did.

I have seen more than this but I can't find them, in one deleted scene nick imagines himself and his friends naked and frolicking in a field like wild animals, except finnick is wearing nothing but a diaper for some reason.

Finnick looked way more adorable in that. :3 Though, I'm glad the collars were removed since it would do nothing for the plot besides demonize the prey.

I read the last chapter of Mulligan but I couldn't get through it, any cuteness and sexiness gave way to trite emotional manipulation, not even good emotional stuff, just manipulative crap. I will continue reading it, but that newest chapter sucked. If I ever write finnick fic, it'll be far happier than that. I can't believe such a good fic could take such a quick downturn.

Dear god, the comments are overpraising it so much. Comments sections like this make me cringe.

I am specifically talking about chapter 7. While it was perfectly well written other than a few typos, it is the actual content of the story I take exception too. People often mistake "It made me feel feelings" for "It's good" and yes, it did make me feel something, unfortunately what it made me feel was sad and depressed. It was just a character I like being tormented and tortured from beginning to end. While I liked the story and thought it was very good up to that point, even with the sad stuff, this just went waaaaay overboard , it was full on emotional carnage with no rhyme or reason, it was just the author throwing all the worst things he could think of at Finnick. Finnick.

In the previous chapters Finnick was working through his feelings and the sad stuff worked since it was mixed with happy stuff, but in this it is just Finnick getting the shit kicked out of him, who would want to read that? It is downright sadistic. I don't know, maybe it would make more sense if I read the whole thing, but I just skimmed it since it was so bad I couldn't get through it, maybe he will learn a lesson from this and it will all make sense in the end, but it was just uncomfortable.

Writers and commentators take note: Just because it's sad, doesn't mean it's good.

I wouldn't feel right, since he seems to be doing exactly what he wants to do, his grammar and writing skills are mostly good and his plot makes sense and is coherent. He seems to be making the story he wants to make, and if I don't like it that isn't his problem. I will read the next chapter when it comes out and hopefully it will be back in line with chapters 1-6.

Okay then. I mostly looked past the bad parts but now that I read this again it's pretty disgusting. I think I can see chapter 8 being good though, seeing as though Gideon is coming back. This fic made me so happy for the first 6 chapters, it's one of the best fanfics tbh except it isn't really sexy at all.

The fact is is not sexy is my other biggest complaint, I come into diaper stuff expecting sexiness and that just isn't providing it, then again I already said that in the comments. Then again, while sexy diaper stuff is something I like, it is also something I aim to provide in my own writing, and I think I do a good job of that. He is filling a different niche than me, and while it is not hot, it is still a well written, cute and compelling story, other than chapter 7 that is. I don't know how sexy Finnick would even be willing to let it get. The chapters with Finnick and Gideon actually remind me a LOT of Impmon's Diapered Day, although more realistic and less smutty. Strange minds think alike I suppose.

Yeah, I don't think the non-sexiness can be held against the story as a fault. In fact, that's part of what makes this story refreshing to me. It's been a long time since I've seen a good story that isn't fapping material. You'd think it'd be the other way around, but smut tends to be better here. It might be because a bunch of kids without sex drives are trying to write diaperfur stories, but there's a shortage of quality, touchy-feely comfort stories like this that have absolute 0 smut.

Maybe I can take inspiration from this story and give it my own treatment, lol. Yo know Hikari and Tailmon's diapered movie night? That is actually based on another diaper fic I read that was much like this, all touchy feely comfy no smut, so I took inspiration from it and smutified it. Like I said in this journal, I have the headcanon, so who knows, I may do some daddy nick and baby finnick in the future, or pred nick and prey judy, who knows! I have a lot of Digimon stuff in mind so don't expect anything any time soon.
