what was your main inspiration to write and draw "seattle fur"?

I've answered this in the past but I've seen plenty of gay furry comics where a the main gay character has a crush on the straight guy. I was always curious as to how those types of stories would play out in the straight guy's perspective. That was the basis of the inspiration but since then it's grown beyond that.

It may not be the most "technically" advanced art but he takes the minimalist style of markers and makes the most out of it, and i've always loved how he can make a few simple lines exhibit such vast life and nuance. I can just imagine if he moved to digital mediums, he could potentially be one of the top 100 FA artists.

There was no direct inspiration for him. He naturally developed as the comic progressed. Just a lot of ideas that came to mind here and there.

Say remember that poster you for April Fool's called "New York Fur"? I know that was supposed to be an April fool's joke but I actually would love to see that as a real story. Would you ever consider doing that once you're done with Seattle Fur?

I'd really love to. But since the vast majority of my fanbase are gay males. Then it probably would not be too popular.

The shading is the hardest part for me, wich is why I moved to cell shading. I love the fanbase, I adore everything about them :)

I'm an artist and I do most of my art in sketch books versus the ones I've I done on my iPad and put on here(if you look at the ones I've done). Do you think it would it be a lot better to look at and Invision references at the same time of making your art? Srry if it feels like a personal advice for me from a great artist.

I personally am not a fan of bondage. But that doesn't mean I won't draw it. I understand the appeal.
He might if enough people request him to be in future YCHs
