Top 10 favorite villains of all time

Lights! Camera! Action!
Heya so I decided for the fun of it to make a top 10 villains of all time list. Why villains? Cause even as a child I found heroes boring and always enjoyed the villains. I just found the bad guys to have more character and variety compared to Johnny goodie two shoes. They just had this great flare to them and always stood out among the cast. With that out of the way let's start the list with a short description for each villain and why I chose them! (Also note these villains are from all forms of media including comics, movies, tv shows, video games, etc)
Warning there will be spoilers ahead for several of these villains so if you haven't read, watched or played the series they have been from then skip down the list!
Number 10: The Joker
What the Joker is only number 10? Yep now don't get me wrong I love the Joker! He is in my top 10 after all but despite that there have just been villains who impacted my childhood or adulthood more. There is also the fact he's one of the view villains where I actually liked the hero more cause well Batman is a complex and well written character who I love. That being said the Joker is a fantastic and complex villain himself who best represents chaos in it's purest form. He's the perfect nemesis to Batman and I think he shines the brightest whenever he is portrayed by Mark Hamill.
Number 9: Venom
Venom was a big part of my childhood. I loved the Spider-Man series and when I first saw Venom I was like "Holy crap it's like Spider-Man on steroids with a nightmare face" He was actually a pretty complex villain at the start and definitely had a much cooler design then a lot of Spider-Man's rogue gallery. That being said he only makes 9 as though cool his character development is all over place later on and Spider-Man 3 really tarnished his image.
Number 8: Metal Sonic
Many love Dr Eggman as Sonic's main antagonist and I must say I do love him in the Sonic Boom cartoon but Metal Sonic tops him as my favorite villain in the Sonic series. As I'm sure some know I love the Sonic series and Metal was first introduced in the golden age of the series when Sonic CD was released. Metal Sonic brings a much darker tone to the series compared to the somewhat more silly Eggman. As the series moves on Metal became less a mindless machine and more a homicidal insane machine out to kill Sonic and turn the world into his robotic empire. He gets so much power to the point of over throwing his master Eggman and needing the combined forces of 12 heroes including Super Sonic just to stop and defeat him!
Number 7: Darth Vader
A great big screen villain before the prequels went and fucked it up. That said Vader was still had a big impact on me as a kid and was someone I'd dress up for Halloween.....5 years in a row. A menacing villain with an iconic look the Dark Lord of the Sith made his presence felt through all three original films and even was the one to strike the killing blow to the Emperor at the end of it all! Vader might have ranked higher but the shit stain of prequels did some major damage to his image.
Number 6: Pyron
One of the biggest badasses (literally if he wants to) in the Capcom universe. Pyron was the main villain of the first Darkstalkers game as well as the OVA. He's considered one of the most powerful in the Capcom universe and was the one who started the whole series as his influence corrupted the creatures on earth creating many of the Darkstalkers. Also he was tough as nails to beat in the original and allows taunted you as he smacked your ass around. Course I think the video alone speaks volumes of his power and badass-ness (totally a word).
Number 5: Mettaton
Many of you knew he'd make this list though I bet some expected him to be number 1. Honestly he'd be higher up but Mettaton is still too new to rank up higher then number five and SPOILERS he ends up not being such a bad guy in the end......especially since his reason for wanting you dead was partially a good one. Still he's a great character with so much personality to him. He's egotistical, vain, a bit silly, a show boater and cunning to boot. He even maintains good image among the citizens of the Underworld minus a few of them. Plus he's just so fucking fabulous I just can't rank him any lower then 5!
Number 4: Ursula
List was really missing a villainous no? And no Disney villains yet either! Well no worries cause Ursula takes number 4 on my top 10 list. I always thought she was one of the villains with the most personality from the Disney bad guy cast. She was loud, clever, and pretty damn manipulative. She really stood out among the Disney villains for me in both personality and her design. She has a few appearance influences from Madam Mim and Medusa but otherwise isn't something you see with a lot of female villains. She's large, unattractive and can look downright menacing when she wants. Oh and she had one of coolest battle scenes imo!
Number 3: Kefka
My favorite villain in the Final Fantasy series and one of the reasons the Joker is lower on the list. When it came to evil clowns Kefka took the batshit insane cake for me. He started as an average nobody power wise at the beginning of the game. As you progressed though he became stronger through his actions till by mid game he becomes a god. At that point do you defeat him and save the world? No he fucking causes the apocalypse and most life on the planet slowly dies off. He actually succeeds in his goal and defeats the heroes while fucking the planet in the process! Is he happy with that? No and decides he just wants to turn the universe into nothingness! Before do so though he gets some shits and giggles blasting apart villages with his judgement blasts as townspeople try to rebuild. He's ultimately defeated in the end but has one of the most memorable battles and even gets the last laugh as in the end it was still just a sad game to him and no longer cared as all magic disappeared with him leaving a dying world behind. Kefka was just pure badass in it's highest form in the FF series!
Number 2: Bowser
The villain to have the second biggest influence on my childhood. Bowser was and still is a huge icon in the gaming universe. He is also one of the most simple yet also complex villains depending on which game and spin off he is in. Is he wanting to rule the world? Does he really have romantic feelings for Peach? Is he just an asshole looking to piss off Mario? It's never always made clear but what we do know is that without Bowser in a Mario game it just tends to be not as interesting as he has become vital to the series. Plus he was of the first "furry" type characters that I loved and still love to this day. Bowser you fucking rock!
and now for my favorite villain of all time!
Number 1 Freeza
The tyrant emperor of the known universe and one of the evilest bastards around. A born prodigy of power he was one of the strongest beings in the universe the day he was born. Freeza was a name feared across many galaxies and a monster who killed countless races and enslaved over 400 planets. He destroyed the Planet Vegeta and was the one who caused the start of the Dragonball series. Freeza is a cold blooded maniac who hides his sadistic nature through polite and elegant speech and mannerisms. That said once you cross him your death will most likely be slow and brutal. He stood out among all the villains when I was a kid and become 100x better when he was redubbed from a more cartoonish bad guy to the calm but psychotic tyrant that he was originally portrayed as in the Japanese anime. He is by far the biggest villain in the series having the most appearances in spin offs and video games. So big that he finally came back years later and surpassed Super Sayian God Goku in power with only four months of training! He is by far my favorite villain and one who's name I'll think of first when you ask me want villain impacted me the most!
Did you guys like my list? Agree with any of my choices? Have different choices or opinions? Let me know in the comments and if you want make your own journal and link it below for me to read!

Venom, at least the original Eddie Brock version, SUCKS. He's a one-dimensional asshole and Reason Number One With A Bullet why you don't turn a character like Spider-Man into an amoral, 'roided-out "badass." But what did you expect from Todd McFarlane, the man responsible for Why Comics In The 90's Sucked?
The only villain worse than the original Venom is Carnage- seemingly created on a dare to make a character even MORE one-dimensional than Venom. Now granted, Venom DID eventually become interesting... when the symbiote passed to Eugene "Flash" Thompson and "Agent Venom" became the "jock" to Spidey's "nerd."
Probably my number 1 favorite villian has to be Dark Lord Chin Chin.
Also, which one is Pyron? The robot golem looking thing or the demon bat guy?
And fair enough. I really need to give Darkstalkers a look at.
I tend to like more realistic villains, like Tuco from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly or Robert G. Durant from Darkman.
Though my favorite villain of all time has to be the most corrupt politician ever, Senator Roark from Sin City.
How can you not love to hate this bastard after watching this speech? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Os9TU3e0kMo
