Oldies

General
You know, I heard the band Toto (Miss The Rains Down In Africa*) on an Oldies station this week.

Really, Toto is Oldies now? Soon 25% of my iTunes library will be 'Oldies' I listened to as a kid, let alone the songs I listen to that predate my birth.
*sigh*
Now I know why my feet hurt so often, I'm supposedly getting old.

FA+

but then i have to stop and realize, that was so many years ago, that most of the people i know or am likely to meet, hadn't been born yet themselves.
and these are people of an age that i can remember being older them myself.
that's just time does that. i hear people say they'd get bored living for ever, but seriously, i see so much change, there's no way i would.
Amen. I was born in 1960. It doesn't seem so long ago to me. Yet the changes in society and technology since then are staggering. I don't know what the world will be like 50 years from now, but I know it will be amazing. Wish I could be there to see it, but I'll have to leave that to a younger generation.
Hell in car talk im an antique.. and then some!! I even drive an antique car supposedly.. the car not that old, only 32 years old. Lol
I trade you ages!
How would feel Iffin you were born 9 years before said song was released? !
Shout out to K.!
I have a broad listening range in music.
I'm for one am sorta glad that some of these oldies radio stations moved up about a couple of decades!
Nice to hear something from my time!
Thanks for making this journal!
I'm familiar with Toto and The Rains in Africa song but I had no idea that group also produced the song "Rosanna"!
