I think my laptop is permanently stuffed
9 years ago
You remember when I had that problem a few months where I had a couple of nights, where my laptop would crash for some unknown reason?
Well now it's been crashing at least twice almost everyday within the last week or two.
I've come to the conclusion that my laptop is permanently retarded and I should just expect to keep redoing art and whatever else that I've been doing.
I was doing a sketch earlier tonight. I went to browse the internet for a few secs and then it crashed and did its stupid, Windows 8 blue screen, recovery thing.
My laptop is now an everlasting cycle of complete pestering assetry!
I don't think anything is gonna fix the issue, and if my laptop goes kerplunk and dead, I probably will be not be able to draw for quite some time, as I will probably won't have or get any money to buy a new one. And I sure as hell won't be letting anyone else spend their money to get one for me.
So if there comes I time where I'm not submitting anything for ages, its either because its actually dead, suffered from memory loss like an old laptop would, or I've smashed it to smitherines from frustration

If I was being serious about that though, I would need to get some sort of gun license to do it XP
A bit drastic, but I can't really figure out software issues on a computer that I've never seen if the above doesn't help. A guide to a clean install: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windo.....all-part-1.htm
If the clean install doesn't work then it is likely to be hardware failure. If it's possible to replace parts on your model you can generally get new laptop parts such as HDD or RAM relatively cheap from amazon.com and put them in yourself using online instructions (research to make sure they will fit in the case).
Here is a site that can explain a bit more on how to identify which part it could be: http://www.howtogeek.com/174068/how.....your-computer/
I'm more DIY than expert with this stuff, though I've had enough success that I've never had to pay anyone to fix my computers for me.
I hope this helps in some way instead of me just taking up a lot of space in your comments. ^^;
Well it hasn't crashed again since the last time (YET). But when it does, I'll try to keep a lookout for what the issue is. But most likely, I won't be able to fix whatever issue it has (unless someone knows how to).
If its a hardware failure, I'm stuffed. Knowing how expensive those types of parts are, chances are I won't be getting them.
Really appreciate your help anyways ^.^
Thanks anyway ^.^
