Well sure but ah, I was just wanting to poke about one specific game that I just so happen to wanna talk about, otherwise it'd be a never ending list on what games needs more attention from everyone xD

Nobody wants to talk about Skies of Arcadia, why this.
Lets forget other games existence for a moment and talk about how awesome this combat system is. Gaining experience in different types of attacks depending on which color is equipped is an amazing idea for an rpg.

Every little details about the game was made to perfection at the time it was released, and still is damn good and so thorough with making it enjoyable still to this day!

Though the cutscenes and presentation has become dated, it's aged much finer than others. I can't think of a good comparison that won't make me look like a wannabe critique, but i'm sure there's a good example out there.

There may have been other games of it's time that possibly looked better or managed to get a graphics update in current times, but many don't stand up to the scale and story that Skies of Arcadia had.

I think this will do enough without me writing a full fledged 10 page essay on how great the game is and why everyone should experience it. It's...It's so good...

Started on the Dreamcast, but I highly recommend the Gamecube version by far. Legends includes a lot more in the game as sidequests to prolong your playtime

Good thing is I have a Dreamcast and Gamecube both (plus a Wii). So either way I could likely find it at the local used game store. I'll have to check into it some time.

Sadly, no. I'd LOVE to see it ported though, since they did Grandia II already. Don't see why not.
