It's sometimes hard to convince someone who has never had a rat just how much I love mine. Rats are actually some of the sweetest creatures on this earth in my experience. Unfortunately they're also very prone to getting cancer. My Genie, my little angel fought long and hard but today she finally passed away.

Rest In Peace Genie. Daddy loves you so, so much....

Rats are sweet and smart, but nature has it out for them giving them succeptibility to cancer, since it's so easy to get and so hard to get rid of successfully. I'm sorry for your loss, man. That's, losing a pet is really sad, they're little family members no matter what anyone says.
