Commissions Are Currently Closed [And An Update!]

Hey everyone!
I really hate doing this but I've gotten to the point where looking at my waitlist is making me anxious so for the time being, I am closing commissions and will be holding off on YCH's for a bit.
I split this into raw info and the personal bit as I don't like to go on about my life but I feel it is a bit important to mention for any who want to know what's been up with le Lixy.

Commissions will open again in about a month or so.
I will also be re-evaluating my prices before opening for commission again.
Anything currently written on my To-Draw List is still a-go, as well as any collaboration set ups. It is a slow and delayed going, but it is indeedly a-going.
I do apologize for my slowness these past few months.
I am working every chance I get on art (without mentally frying myself).
You are welcome to note me if you would like me to message you when my commissions open again.
However I will post that via journal when it happens.

It's cliche, but it truly has been just one damn thing after another over here.

I was put on medications a few months ago to help with my physical state.
It impacted my mental state though, which caused a lot of issues.
That is all sorted out now.

I got an apartment.
This was a necessity given my current state of living
(Great home, warm bed, bad people)
The entire organization of that, figuring out financial stability, working with our to-be housemate and fiance, etc. took a lot of time.
But that too is all sorted out now.

I got REALLY sick.
Like holy jesus I thought I was gonna die sort of sick.
I just got over that two weeks ago but it lasted nearly a month of horrible flu-like ick.

Then I went on vacation, which was great!
But it wore out my crippled chronically ill person body,
And that took a week to recover from cause my back doesn't know how to be a back.

So that brings me to about ten days ago.
Feeling good, able, ready to face the world, I began at my projects again and realized,
"Holy fuck I have a commission with a deadline to meet and this thing is really complicated and how do I even begin to do this?"
So all week I've been focusing on that.
But that means I haven't been able to finish my other projects and art despite most of them being SO DAMN CLOSE TO BEING DONE because this one needs my full attention.
The only reason I'm writing this now is because my back gave out and I'm waiting for meds to kick in.
But that will be completely done within the next 24 hours.
I have three more deadlines coming up, though much less threatening/looming than this one, so I will be working on completing all my digital art starting Sunday and onward into the future!
Now we just pray/wish/etc. that nothing ELSE decides to hop out at me.
