I was just thinking of harry potter and I remembered that one spell they use for fixing his glasses. Then I thought, you know they have a lot of just plain lazy spells in there. Like one for cleaning said dirty glasses instead of just pulling out a small cloth. Then it occurred to me, what would happen in about 500 years once they had perfected magic to the point you really only need to wave your wand and it happens. ready for dinner? wave a wand. Want seconds, wave a wand. Want to go out but don't feel like walking? levitating broom or carpet.

Then I realized, you would have the opposite side of the spectrum of Wall-e, only with magic instead of technology. Its nothing more than a cute twist but its a funny idea, bunch of fat people with wands on carpets.
