migraines (commission delays but also a question)
a) does anyone have ANY recommendations for migraines? i get them chronically, sometimes more often than other times, and lucky me has gotten them literally every other day for the past 2 weeks.
aleve is the only thing that really diminishes the pain to something tolerable, but i have been having stomach pains and am supposed to lay off the NSAIDs for a bit!!
i have some aromatherapy stuff and tried it but it just didn't help much last night
if anyone has any suggestions it would really be great. they completely disable me and i can't sit up usually, much less get work done or even tell people that i have a migraine and won't be working tonight.
b) due to said migraine i didn't get much work done last night so hopefully i'll be doing catch-up work this evening!!
again if there's any questions about commission status, feel free to drop me a note! i don't bite.

Hope this all helps~
ive been on multiple migraine medications but nothing seems to work!!
im just trying to find some OTC / more.... holistic? methods of taming them since i dont have access to another neuro just yet
but thank you!!!
that's not really a holistic approach but its gotta be thrown out there hope you find some relief soon
Some people find asprin helps, but for me it tends to make them worse. Taking a mix of ibuprofen+paracetamol(tylenol) or co-codamol( not sure if this is refered to under a different name in the US)
The most specific migraine medication here is sumatriptan but it's only given via prescription.
Unfortunately migrains are genetic and they don't know yet exactly what causes them

Unfortunately migrains are genetic and they don't know yet exactly what causes them so you're probably stuck with them for life :( hopefully not as often or as bad though
