The only guidance I have about appearance is that I'd imagine the school age version of him is built like a stick and somewhat awkward looking. If you want more description let me know, otherwise go nuts and have fun drawing him. I really haven't solidified how he should look in my head yet, so I'll be happy with whatever you come up with.
This character is still very much a WIP in my mind. About the only things I have nailed down so far are that he's a stoat and he's on the skinny/weak side physically (he's also kind of devious/mischievous in a very subtle sort of way, but that's not really a drawable characteristic :P). So basically other than being a skinny awkward looking stoat, the appearance is totally up to you. You could even play with the coloring if you want. Stoats change coloration between winter and summer, so feel free to mix elements between the two patterns if you think that would be more fun to draw. So yeah, sorry I'm being kinda vague. I just know that I'm terrible when it comes to visual creativity, so I'd rather step back and leave it up to the experts. I'm really excited to see how you interpret the character.
