My mother just got diagnosed with Liver cancer - specifically angiosarcoma, in addition to the mielofibrosis she already had. Unfortunately it's probably been there a while, since the one partially available case study reads like a shopping list of all her symptoms the past six months.
TL;DR - It's a really rare form of cancer which no one knows how to treat or diagnose properly. It is very unlikely she'll make it to two years.
In about two weeks she'll have her 70th birthday. I won't be putting aside any presents for christmas.
