Need Some Skype Help

So I tried getting on Skype tonight and it says "Cannot Connect". Updating doesn't work, restarting doesn't work, not sure what else I can do. Any thought?
Despite me having all new up to date drivers.
from the links they sent me.
That i updates a mere minute before talking to the, again.
but are still somehow out of date and its all my fault its not working.
