Oh wow.... WAY back when Furnation had it's chat room and I had no fursona as I was new to the fandom, I sat needing a screen name and so, having an idea for a dark furred timber wolf went with two words that sounded cool together and hadn't been taken yet.

I was just wondering what got you into 40K, a friend, or a family member, what?

I was always given models as a kid to build, as a healthy alternative to taking apart everything in the house :P when I was 5 I saw a 40k mini and wanted it so I put it together and attempted to paint it, an OLD lead space marine. I later barrowed white dwarfs from an uncle that worked at a game store and got into 40k then... back in first edition. I didn't start PLAYING until second. So started back in '88 ^.^ First army was a small Space Wolf/ Squat band!

well it's nice to chat with someone else about figures and gaming most of my other friends don't want to talk about it being stuff for little kids, and they grew up a long time ago...

Poor guys got old so quickly...

Pretty much everything but I need an outside eye because since it's my own work I'm able to look at it with the same critique as an outsider could and also if you could give me any tips on blending that would be great too

Well firstly you have some nice color combination and you apply your colors very cleanly so that's a great start. Lets look at your Charger, question, what kind of primer do you use? I see grainy bumps around its feet and such. Your colors are on very nicely but try to add some water to your paints so they are a bit thinner. Its better to have to do 2-3 coats then to do too much with 1. The biggest help I could offer at this phase is to shade. My rule of thumb is "Inks are your friends!" get some washes and or inks and practice with them, get your minis washed in an ink to pick out details and add contrast and shading. Nothing heavy and you don't want to have glossy "ink pools" but a simple wash (a brown would work best for metals and your red). I think that would be a great start, give it a go hun and PLEASE feel free to write or IM me for more help ^.^ I really do like to help.

...Have you ever considered using a Crest AC despite the fact that you're a Mirage loyalist?

Also, do you remember the Chrome, Murakumo, and Chemical Dyne era?

Oh yes, I remember all the old corps, and no I avoid crest like the plague ^.^ mainly due to ascetics as the stats are always comparable.

I will admit that Mirage does make some decent parts, especially in the areas of defense, such as their medium weight arms...and their head parts, at least for the Nexus-Last Raven era.

I myself though go with Crest ACs...but I always love whipping out a Kisaragi design now and then, though after Nexus, Kisaragi was crippled...honestly, why did FromSoftware give the flamethrowers such an energy drain, and why did they get rid of the howitzers? I loved the damn howitzers!

I've no idea why they pulled them, I had fun with those too. AC 4 and Answers are a blast though, I love the speed and the fresh start they gave us story wise ^.^

Best thing to come outta AC For Answer are the DOZARs...god I love those things!

Though you're right, they've moved on past the Underground-era companies, expanding them into what they once were before the Great Disaster...and y'know, if they make another AC game, FromSoftware might just take us back to Mars...though I'm also holding out for an offshoot of the Armored Core series that lets us pilot MTs.

there is an MT game, its called Chrome Hounds :P And I do hope we continue to get AC games ^.^

Ahh, how could I have forgotten Chrome Hounds...though they didn't really strike me as MTs, if anything, they seemed more like primitive ACs, and the older equivalent of MTs were present too.
