Well that's the thing. What's the popufur have? Reach. An audience. People who will pay attention to what they do and such. If you don't at the very least have lots of people following you or paying attention to what you do guess what? You have no reach, and therefore no way for people to see your $80 characters. Do you at least post to things like groups, or even discussion boards like /r/furry? (The furry subreddit). If not, then your reach is only limited to friends on Facebook - and that's not even counting who actually pays attention to your posts.

I'm not going to outreach to any new people, I've seen to many people scammed just to put it somewhere random. I used to have some reach, but because I'm not uploading porn every day I don't have that base anymore.

You can get reach without uploading porn. You just have to work harder at it.

I have nothing worth uploading, so nobody will bother. Unless I post in fuck tons of raffles again, it won't work out. I've been at this for several years.

Just because you've been at something for a while doesnt mean you know all the tricks or are good at it.

i think the worse thing than someone who has super expensive art is the ones who make literal hundreds off a recolored base. like... it's kind of insulting to know that someone makes money off of something that took literally no effort to make just because peopleeither flocked to them or some weird reason.

like, i guess what i mean to bring up is that the people who somehow make rediculous amounts off of a base instead of taking like an hour out of their day to amke something unique all because they know they can milk people without trying.

I know those types of people. It's usually the most basic designs they make as well. Yes I've seen designs that I myself would pay lots to have, but when you go down in price from something you love and someone's basic base design gets more then you it kinda upsets you. I use bases to make my designs, but I try to make them special.

yeah, i feel bad for the poeple that like TRY. they put their time and effort into their stuff, and it shows. what they make stands out, it just catches my eye over plain recolors of bases. i could only imagine how much it hurts someoen to know that what they created from nothing wasn't even worth looking at over someone who just got paid for colors.

I know this all to well.

It's very tough. Kind of makes me laugh a little though
because then, the people who pay for it, complain about
not having money. (When they could've gotten something
cheaper.)

But remember, this is FA...stuff like this is always bound to
happen.
