FML traditional portfolio, all those sketchbooks....

Why can't this be left in the recesses of my mind
back in the spring time. here in texas we had a MASSIVE flood. prior to this. I had an bed bug outbreak. ONLY NOW because I was job hunting and starting to think
"oh hey I have this bach. in media arts and animation, I should use it." so was thinking and looking for work in that area.
then it hit me. where the fuck is my portfolio. looking threw my mind. I remember or atlest think I remember it was in the only fucking box that got flooded.
I am praying to god I wasnt.but its too dark to check the rest the boxs that are safe but yet outside. I am sitting here panicking. I am so freaking stupid.
like how could I be so freaking careless.... ugh.
if its lost im going to have to rebuild a fully new traditional portfolio. sketches, scapes, all of it. just fucking all of it.
so with that going to start putting some notes down here for myself.
-10 or so live people/nude sketches and charcoal works
-10 or so still lifes
-ALOT of character design works.
-ALOT of artwork, fantasy pieces and the like.
I can likely get some my now more current pieces that I have done. thing is printing cost money and thats going to be a while before I can make blood sure I get
respectable prints of the pieces I have.
I am in physical pain over all this like. I had some wonderful old sketchbooks also dating back a few years. just. it hurts thinking I likely lost all that work...just...
how could I be so stupid. just FML FML FML FML

so from this point moving on any pg and mature pieces I do for commission, if I plan to use them in my portfolio I'll message the commissioner to make sure its fine to use.
ugh I just going to have to rebuild. going to just do a nice digital printout booklet for this. x.x
