Who Wants to President of the US?
Of course paraphrased from "Who Wants to be King of the Zulus?" I haven't said much outside of private comments but to be honest, this election is a mess (though that's generous to say that - it's more of a sham that more resembles Keeping Up with the Kardashians than a serious election). If there was an option of the ballet I would vote "Recall all Candidates." I think both big parties and the side parties need to pick more qualified candidates...or just send their VP candidates as they seem more competent.
Though, I think the better question is, who should we really be voting for president? A lot of furries have already poked fun at the election and say elect another orange-epidermed con artist, Nick Wilde. :P Interesting choice but I can think of many other creative choices in terms of how they'd execute the office and policies they could put in place. Just sad to think fictional characters (even bad ones like Borsk Fey'la) are more competent.
And in other topics...
My poor dog had her first seizure in quite a while. Must have been something that scared the pee outta her (literally) and since then she's been in suck-up mode with me. :P Kinda like kids (or Gabby) who know they have been in trouble, they want to butter you up so you forget it.
And...other than Zootopia and Deadpool, I haven't really been interested in any new movies. Just seem too...same-old, same-old and dumb. That includes Rogue One with it's Phantom TIE ripoff upcoming in December. Just too bad when the anti-George Lucas comes up and their breakout movie makes a smash, Hollywood just won't learn and try to imitate it for almost 40 years and screwing it all up and injecting their political slant in entertainment. >.<
Might have another topic up later, just depends on what I'm thinking about and if I can get it to paper/webpage.

Basically they are all the same but I'd have to choose Hilary cause she'd be the first woman president
Take a look at this thing. The so called "U-Wing":

(No spoilers, despite what the page may say)
Talk about lazy!
All they did was take the Y-Wing's cockpit, the X-Wing's engines, and stuck two thin "wings" on it.
The Force Awakens was just as lazy though (I liked the movie, but still). No new starfighters at all.
An X-Wing with some extra bits and bobs, and a TIE Fighter with a turret and a paint job was all we got.
For the record; I don't talk politics....absolutely disgusting subject.
At least Admiral Thrawn was brought back in....unfortunately, he's not in his "proper timeline".
On the note of technology....I agree. The E-Wing was a ship I had always been fond of, as was the little
known Clutch/TIE Clutch.
And you're right, a stealthy ship would be well suited for the First Order. Then again, look what Disney gave
them instead; Starkiller Base. A massive Deus Ex Machina that was nothing more than a big target on their backs.
Again. Disney had a lot of good stuff that they just threw away. I mean, I can see wanting to put in their own ideas, but come on, you don't have to throw out everything else as well. Especially people who wrote things that George Lucas himself signed off on and explicitly told the writers it would be official canon....and now its not.
Heck, one of the books detailing Emperor Palpatine and his becoming a Sith was still being written...it was meant to be full, official canon....and Disney threw it out. That's more than just a slap in the face...that's enough to make you want to quit writing.
I suppose lack of originality will be the over all theme for all Disney made Star Wars movies.
Well, that and a ton of direct references to the original trilogy.
Why do I get a feeling that Ep. VIII is going to be "The First Order Strikes Back"? x_x
