Try jotting some of those ideas down, it might help.
And if it doesn't, you can just have me tell you what to draw, because that is the noble and totally not selfish thing for me to do!

All I can say about that is, draw what you like. Rather it be pokemon or something different, you do what makes you happy and interested.

I'm totally fine with only pokemon, but I do miss seeing stuff with Zen and other people's OC's from time to time.

Look, it's not that I miss that time too, but it just felt wrong. That wasn't me. I was young and foolish and now that I think I understand myself more, I hate it, thats why I shut it down because people didn't know the real me.

I mostly into Punk and rock songs.... and those are bad choices while drawing cause it gets me amped up.

Not all songs are bad :) There is still some Punk/Rock songs are pretty good. I'm more into Rock.

Draw the things you want to draw, whether that is pokemon or something else. Art always comes out better when the artist is invested and interested in what they are making.

Interesting mind.... I don't like my mind. It always wanders and when I remember all the bad shit... I try to forget it.

I know this will sound stupid or outright insane to you but embrace it to make your resolve stronger it may suck and it may hurt but its a part of you and it can help you.

Dont get me wrong I know how it is to want to forget something but being unable to I have a few of those myself.

To be terribly honest, i'd be elated to see more Original Characters and much MUCH less Fan Characters.
A lot of the time, a watcher can be turned away based on a fan base.

So if you make a.. *crunges* Steven Universe fan character, SOME..just some people will look and go "Why" and leave or make a comment no one wants to really see. Then drama ensues and just..it's just an all around bad time.

Actual Original Characters have a lot more thought put into them in terms of design, color and even stuff no one would usually care about like backstory, abilities and traits! All things that can be considered 'interesting'! BUT! It's not always like this. One could end up making a sparkledog mary sue named after the original artist as a cruddy self-insert. how sad is that, right??

Anyway yeah, you shouldn't care about what people say about your dumb character, you know? As long as You yourself enjoy it, why go out of your way to pander to those around you?

But you're right on that. Becoming more original with creative ideas. I love drawing pokemon, but there are times where I just want to draw out random stuff on my head, but I just lose interest quickly. It's a habot I need to get out of fast.
