I made a silly.

Done in a couple days of work, using Unity3d. It's very cheesy. Those URLs *will* change in the future.
All the assets are free off of Unity's asset store or other 3d/sound resource sites.
Run: shift
Jump: space
Attack: Left mouse
Eat: e
"Squat": x
Leap: D+Left Mouse (backwards and attack)
The AI is pretty dumb, and often circles around you.
Your own attacks have to be lined up a little too perfect, try backing up if you can't hit.
The grey transparent thing is vision debug.
I'll either post new journals or update this one as I add to the little silly game. What's better? Update the same journal, or make new ones and delete the old ones? Or maybe a file submission instead of a journal?
Also notably, it's not meant to be a dinosaur/compy game, that's just the model I had available. Not that I mind having compies, but that is not my end-goal.

Additionally, I am not familiar with Blender to make my own models, rig existing models, or animate existing rigs... so, I'm further stuck with only free fully-animated characters. Unsurprisingly, these are few and far between - except for icky humans. (So many free human characters... bleh)
However, I do have background in Maya with 3d modeling, rigging, texturing, and animation - So I understand the concepts. I've been slowly learning Blender, but it is a very confusing application. If I could find someone to bounce questions off of easily, it'd be tons of help, but I don't know anyone at this time. I can't reliably use forums or IRC, due to the content being referenced.
I've got a lot of ideas, and even a grand master plan - but I just wanted to do something simple and small, see where it goes.
First, get it to work. *Then*, get it to work _better_.
Some teasers-
The next version will have a rudimentary menu, a couple options, ability to re-spawn and actually exit the game via menu option. I did this lastnight, just didn't have time to post it.
After that, I'll introduce some sort of XP and abilities, as well as hot-key bar for learned skills. This of course will mean needing more things to kill, too! I may end up just using non-edibles, like skeletons and goblins, just because there are freebies of them - until they can be replaced with more furry-fun/vore-themed things.
I very much welcome suggestions and ideas! Obviously not everything can be done, but don't ever hesitate to make suggestions!
