Hurricane Delays... >_<

So, Hurricane Matthew came and went, and I'm super relieved that it veered off course before the worst of it reached my area in North Carolina...though we didn't get off without a scratch through. Power went down for a while, several parts of town got REALLY flooded (like, I don't think anyone's gonna be eating at Pizza Hut for a while unless they have access to rain boots and a small boat...), and we ended up spending the past couple of days clearing the debris from the yard and picking up all the junk on our porch that got blown around.

Heard it was pretty damn nasty, especially after seeing the satellite image where it looked like a grinning skull with a flaming eye.
Certainly hope there won't be any more hurricanes for quite some time now, although considering how our climate has changed, you never know.
at least you were not really in trouble at least :3
And agreed, I feel like we dodged a bullet with this one. ^_^'
