>When you rarely talk to someone and the only times they come to speak to you is when they want something
(And then later you see them go on as if no one ever does anything for them even tho you literally just helped them)
>Giving someone large sums of money when they're in need, but when you're in need, you don't get so much as a, 'Oh no I hope you're okay' or a courtesy promotion to get the word out
(I'm not saying, 'Hey give me money because I gave you money', but I'm talking like, 'I gave you hundreds of dollars when you needed it and you can't even stop by and say you're concerned?)
>'I want this but I don't have the money :('
(This is completely okay but when there is like 10 comments on something and all of them are, 'I want this, but I don't have the money' it kinda just feels really suffocating. Like hey, I'm putting up X thing because I need money for Y thing. I'm already in a negative state of mind, then to see a BUNCH more people in the same boat as me is kinda putting more negative upon that negative. Just leave it to, 'This is gorgeous' or some variety without the lamenting no money)
>People who say, 'I want this but I don't have the money', and either have the money, or are just saying in in hopes of a discount
(Staring at you people who repeatedly go on and on and on and on about wanting X but not having the money for it. Kay. I get it. You want X and don't have the money for it. But lawdy you sound like you're begging for a discount, and that's not very yolo of you)
>I just turned 16, uhg I'm so old
(Son, if you think you're old anytime below the age of 40(tho I argue 50 and younger isn't considered old but that's just my opinion), I've got some bad news for you. You might live till you're 90 and you're going to feel decrepit by age 30)
>PEOPLE WHO BITCH ABOUT POKEMON GO
(Oh my god, I literally sat at the bar with my mom and brother once (She plays pokemon go and the bar had a pokestop and I came along so we could both hit the pokestop every 5 minutes, she drank, brother was the driver, I was there because.... I forgot) and someone at the bar found out we were playing pokemon go and they briefly heckled mom for playing, but then completely went off on my brother. KIDS THESE DAYS DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT RESPONSIBILITY. YOU'RE LAYING YOUR SILLY GAMES WHEN YOU SHOULD BE WORKING. MY JOB DOES NOT STOP WHEN I GET HOME BECAUSE I DO CHORES TILL I GO TO BED (Literally what they said. My job doesn't stop when I get home, I do chores till I go to bed. Holy. Shit.) And just kept going on and on about uhg kids and their stupid pokemon go. And then I ran over and told him he sounded really boring and needed to stop talking. I had balls that day and lemme tell you it FELT SO GOOD. Oh my god I could go on for hours about this one but I'll stop)
>When people act as if someone's fursona/someone's character IS that person. Sometimes followed by a creepy comment.
(Now I get some people do consider their fursona 'them', but if the artist is like, 'lol this is my weird fursona' and not, 'lol this is me'... then don't talk to them as if they are a red rat with green hair. And also don't say how you'd like to have sex with them. And when the person is like, 'I have a boyfriend, please stop', don't proceed to note them in "secret" as if that suddenly makes your demands for yiffing any less fucking creepy. I greatly dislike you.)
So :y What's y'alls pet peeves? I know I made a journal about this a long while back but golly do I love listening to pet peeves.
(And then later you see them go on as if no one ever does anything for them even tho you literally just helped them)

FA+

People who claim to love you/call you family when you help them out with advice/money while they're having a hard time, and then don't so much as say 'I'm sorry, hope it all goes well.' when you announce you might have cancer...
And then you make a comment on someone's random 'what's everyone else up to' post, about how scared you are and literally HUNDREDS OF STRANGERS pour out their love, support and encouragement to you.
That's a very specific example... Relevant to what is currently happening in my life.
Also people who are rude to servers or other customer service representatives. That seriously pisses me off.
And uhg yeah 6m9 poor retail peeps. I feel bad for them and avoid any job having to do with those shenanigans >>
Is been an adventure.
-Deserve to be shot on the spot
-"You know, maybe if you would have ducked, you wouldn't have a black eye" (Fuck that person)
That first one! Ugh!
I had someone who KNEW how horribly allergic I was actually good me down and force me to stay in the room where someone was smoking.
My face turned purple and I couldn't breathe.
Almost had to go to hospital because I very nearly passed out.
But another someone came in, saw what was happening, punched the first one in the face and dragged me outside and gave me his inhaler.
It was a fucking mess. I never went to that house again...
When people think I'm making shit up when I say what happens to me. Like, I WISH I was joking about the calvacade of really stupid things that happen, but people actually think I would make this up for attention :V yeah ok
When artists who literally have no queue post journals about doing free art for their watchers, then delete the journal with No explanation. Like, even if they just didn't feel like doing it, because they don't have to, it always sogs my cereal when I get my hopes up and NOTHING. Worst being I won a raffle LITERALLY 3 YEARS ago and everybody else got their prizes and I got fuck all, was told SEVERAL times they were "working on it" only for them to mysteriously change their page to include not noting them about the progress of free art.
On that note, when people say they're gonna commission me/want a design I have, I tell them sure, then NOTHING. Like, just tell me something came up, I'm cool with that. But no kind of communication whatsoever and notes I send to check up on peeps get either unread or ignored so yeah.
When people harass you because you have a design by XYZ and how much more they "deserve" it than you because they've been a fan of that person before your grandma was born, etc. OR because you have "too many characters" and aren't giving it "enough love" (never mind I actually like to take time to develop my characters, but ok)
And lastly (because honestly, this would never end ,lol) when people are the first to beg for help when they "need it" but don't give half an ass cheek about you when you're in a fix, but still have NO problem spending loads on merch and games :V (yeah I learned the hard way that's a lot of why some of them were broke in the first place and why now there are so few people in my life because I gotta cut those toxic bastards out) and hoooo boy all this is bad for my health.
-:y I dislike when people do the whole 'working on it' thing. Just... own up to the fact you don't want to and say no. "No" is better than having ya sit there waiting forever.
-Ryn gets that a lot too lol and it's like if you don't actually want X, don't say you want it. Saying it just to make the person feel better then vanishing when the opportunity arises kinda just makes the person feel worse.
-Lawdy, I definitely made a journal on that once upon a time. I feels you.
-This is pretty much why I don't toss money at people. Also because I don't have money to give, but I digress. Cause it's like aayyy, I can give you the world, and you wouldn't so much as glance in my direction if I was dying so. Unless it's someone I know personally and keep in constant contact with- that's different. ....Or if I had a copious amount of money to spend I might.
-unnessisary complaining to shop employees over dumb shit.
lemme tell you this one causes me pain on a regular basis because a very important person in my life does this. One time we hired a rental car and she had us stop and demand they clean the windows since there was bird poop on one of them. Because "Thats their job they should make sure these cars are in perfect condition before we use them" and my brother and I we just cringing in the backseat because it wasnt even in an obtrusive spot and she was being ridiculous.
-also people trying to weasel in "deals" and discounts in stores. Not understanding that the employees arent actually even allowed to do that. Is another thing on a similar notion.
-People that only come to a stream if its offering freebies. Second only to people who get really picky about how youre drawing their FREE art.
Commissions are different. But. This is really hard to explain but just. You know the people that get **Really** specific about how you do the freebie or keep rushing you to finish other peoples freebies so that they can get one. Just. really annoys me.
-People trying to feed carnivorous pets a vegetarian diet.
just. get a rabbit or something..
-People calling artistic skill talent.
I know its really not that big of a deal but i just feel like.. I wasnt given this skill by divine providence. I worked hard for it.
Generally calling any persons skill a talent or a gift bothers me idk. Its a personal thing.
-everything somehow being blamed on weight.
It doesnt matter what it is. If i get sick or if i get depressed somehow everyone blames my weight. why?? WHY???
-people that only give you things so they can guilt you into giving them things later.
for example: X person gives you a gift > 15 minutes later > X person asks for money > if you say no they start talking about how they always give you things and you never give them things > repeat this almost every other week you know this person.
-art theives.
just in general. There are very few things i hate more than art thieves.
