There's no rule that says you have to date. If you don't have a date, that's fine. But if for some reason you do, that's cool, too. Heck, there have been plenty of people that are single for the rest of their lives and have no shame about it. Don't let being single bother you so much. But if you want to date someone that badly, either look for one, or let that one find you.

I can understand your feeling because I feel the same way. All my friends around are getting mated while I'm still single. However, don't think "everyone else" can easily have a mate, there's plenty that still awaits to find their lover.

But you don't have to blame yourself for that. It's a matter of meeting someone you find interesting and exchange together with the hope that you share a lot of the same interests together. Then eventually, you might start caring a lot for that person and the other will also care a lot for you. But all of this takes time and some luck.

Don't get discouraged. Sometimes, it takes a while. Keep searching and you'll eventually find.

Say, you seem to enjoy macro and paws. I'm sure we could start befriending each other. I like to comfort others in need like you.

It does take a lot of patience, and can be very frustrating. I spent five years without anyone and got into the mindset that I would be alone for most of my life. It happens when you least expect it, usually. I do wish you luck with it, dude. You definitely deserve someone special.

I'll be honest... everyone is different and will have a different approach. Depending on how close you are to your friends, dating a friend could be great. But what I would say is to just keep being social, be yourself always, and when you find that next person you truly click with, think about if you can see yourself dating them. Well it's certainly true that if you date a friend, then later if things don't go well, you normally can't go back to being friends. That's the risk you take.
But why do you think everyone else has someone already? I'm pretty sure there's many more singles than taken, so you should be able to find someone. But that takes some effort and you can't expect love to come. ^^; It's not like in the movies, love at first sight. I think in real life it never ever works like this. It needs a lot of effort from both sides and quite some time to develop.
