nsfw, murrsuits, NSFW.

Now I know this a sort of strange subject.
First off, what is a murrsuit: a fursuit with "strategically placed holes"
Onto the main body of this journal (I'm not dead, just need a new computer that can keep up with my typing speed). Murrsuits sort of have been given a bad name. For guys I see one big positive about a murrsuit, well in the morning at least, if you happen to sleep in your suit (on cold nights I wouldn't blame you). No need to "undress" and expose your body to the cold of the morning and with the hole in the front, no need expose "insert name 1" and "insert name 2"to the cold.
Has there even been a quad murrsuit?

Now I have never faulted anyone for having a murrsuit. For many it's just another way to add one more special level to their character/fursona's connection. If things are done privately most of us would'nt know nore care. It's just the ones who flaunt it in public that bring us all down.
I have also been a builder in the furry fandom for 20+ years I have been in it. I officially joined the fandom in 1987 and started making fursuits in 1990. As I mentioned I wont tell who they are but I can say I have been asked for mursuits ALOT. For me as a builder they are rather embarrassing to make for the reason you have to see that person in all their glory to make them fit properly and that for me is uncomfortable but this is a work of art too (or so that is how I view it). I don't mind that anyone in the fandom knows I will make these, as I mentioned for me its just the building factor that's unsettling in many cases.
For me also, Have I ever been in a mursuit? Yes, I have and only with a select few mates I have been with who I shared that experience with behind closed doors. For a furry couple it can be a very erotic way to share yourself with each other, but at the same time.. its VERY hard to use one of them and extremely uncomfortable because you overheat FAST. It's not something I look to do often because it's more uncomfortable than pleasurable in my opinion. But in your other statement its nice to have the pass through's for other reasons but you risk destroying the suit anytime you use it in any of those regards. I for one would not suggest or recommend anyone use a murrsuit in public at any time.
Fursuits are the public view point into the fandom.....and any fursuiter is an ambassador to the fandom.
I understand that completely. You have to get up close and personal, but in some big art schools, you are required to do one sitting and have people draw you. You know what would interesting if you were trained doctor, so you could give them an examination as well, who knows might catch something early (sorry my mind went on a tangent).
The heat part is what kills the mood. Plus there could be serious medical complications, if Temps raise too high. Yeah you always have the risk of permanently destroying the suit if you do something it is not intended for.
