So I have done several pictures with rather complex character/backgrounds. So I decided to give people a reference of what I may consider complex for the sake of those who want a quick reference when commissioning me. Though in the end I will be the one to tell you up front what is and isn't if asked. That being said:

Complex Character:
I usually say if a character has more then 6 colors, has more then 25% of the body in complex markings, and/or have characters that require me to draw their markings, then you are most likely have a complex character.

Complex background:
If the background has items that need coloring I will consider this a complex background.

Usually more then 3 colors in a clothing.
