Recently it has come to my attention that one of my dear friends is in a highly absuvie situation. They are in a home where they do not have their own space, their partner is being emotionally and sociallly abusive to them and they are lacking the time a lone they need. They are unable to leave the house, and are having a hard time doing anything these days. As me and our friends are now fearing for their lives we started this go fund me to get them out of that home.
We've set the price at $3000 as they live in austrillia and myself and partner have offered to take them in here, in canada and get them on their feet.
In normal circumstances we would just help them get to family, however that is not an option here as the family is alo highly abusive. The family is similar to the current partner but have been known to be physcially abusive as well.
As the person we are helping is in this kind of situation i can not disclose a lot of their personal information, or a lot of who me and my partner are.
If you could help us get them to us we would be forever apperciated. As flight prices are subject to change we are using the 3000 mark as a ball park area. Any thing extra will help them get food, clothes, and to get them to the airport.
I apologize for how long and vauge this is, but if you've ever been in a situation like this you'd understand.
