Seasonal Feeling

Whoa, been awhile since a new journal. Busy busy busy mixed with complications, yadda yadda yadda. Needless to say, the overhaul has left me slightly Halloween-deprived, which is kind of unfortunate. I've tried getting into the spirit of things, but it's difficult unfortunately.
Sure, maybe could watch some scary movies. But that's not completely "Halloweeny". I mean something like Hocus Pocus seems more the style than say Halloween, the movie (that's a slasher flick rather than something about the actual holiday theme.
Games? I have some backlogged, and might get myself into the spirit. It's upsetting no new Silent Hill is on the horizon. Resident Evil, it seems, is starting to get a revival. But it's first person perspective makes me wonder of it's success...
I dunno, maybe I want more of things centering on Halloween itself rather than total scare factor. I mean take uhh...Costume Quest. Cute little game. Involved around Halloween, candy, costumes, with some actual game-play elements. Stuff like that. It doesn't have to be horror or suspense, but about that time of the year where the strange and weird things that come up give us some enjoyment.
Sure horror and suspense is fine. I've been seeing Obscure and Outlast playthroughs and it's fun,..but I'm just not getting the holiday spirit from it. Maybe certain issues have left me a bit weathered to the point of not enjoying it as much, but maybe I just need a shot of good ole' Hallowjuice to get back into the swing. Too bad it's not long till the actual holiday...

I too am sad no new Silent Hill is coming out. There was actually a cancelled one called "Silent Hill: The Box" which sounded like it was interesting. Oh well, I still have Silent Hill 3. The New Resident Evil looks kind of weird. They should really just make the next one like RE4, the one everyone loves. And I think they said this will be last one in this canon and then they're going to reboot it. They left so many plot threads unresolved, such as the whereabouts of HUNK, Carlos, Nicholai, and Rebecca.
Hey, if all else fails, you could always wear a Jack-o-lantern print Mag to get into the spirit.
