What's wrong is the man literally has no life outside of politics. As a person who lives in Texas, I can say that a great deal of people here are just like this. They're not great to be around. If it isn't politics, it's the oil and gas industry. Any people that are actually fun to be with make it a point to leave here as soon as possible.
I live in Houston, have for my whole life, I'm currently finishing out my Bachelor's degree so I can become an Actuary. I haven't ruled out going into politics myself because I'm fascinated with it, it's the very thing that affects every aspect of our lives, people say you shouldn't talk about politics, but not talking about it would mean that nothing would get done for this country, we'd come to a screeching halt because no one would want to address any issue we have here. So ok, maybe the guy isn't invited to parties and whatnot because he only ever wants to talk about his work, but let's face it, his work is never done. Not only that, but at least he enjoys his work, how many people can honestly say that these days? Everywhere I go, all people do is complain about their jobs, it sickens me, "if you hate it, then leave, otherwise find a different attitude, complaining solves nothing, you'll still hate your job and you'll become a problem for everyone else around you"
I don't want to fight about this, so I'll give you one chance to respond, just keep it civil please, after that, I'm done
I'm not saying he shouldn't talk about politics. Politics are very important. But look at his wife. How annoyed she is by him. How eager she is to get him back in office. That's not a healthy relationship.
"I guess we're already here,
I guess we already know,
We've all got something to fear,
We've all got nowhere to go.
I think you're all insane!
But I guess I am too.
Anybody would be if they
were stuck on Earth
with you."
This is how I feel about making it off of Homeworld. I mean, Texas.
