Update on sale of house
I had my condo listed on the market and buyers didn't want to make an offer because of some foundation issues. The HOA claims that there are no foundation issues because the other 3 units tested without any problems. I just had 2 foundation companies come by and tel me that yes there is a foundation probmen and have given me written quotes to fix it. The HOA manager is going to be pissed off when she finds out that yes there is a problem. Other condo owners here have had to pay for the foundation work themselves on this building then go after the HOA for reimbursement. It looks like I may have to do the same as well. As soon as this is done I can get it back on the market and get it sold quickly.
The HOA decided to talk about more special assessments. They notified everyone about the meeting a few days before the actual meeting. One of the new residents here decided to print flyers telling everyone to come to the meeting if they don't want to pay for a $12,000 special assessment. The response to that was very negative and the HOA has not mentioned anything else about it since then.
Once I sell the place I will then start work on rebuilding Fox Killer.
