Help My Mistress, If You Can...Please?

Yay! New journal is posted for all!
My sweet and loving, caring, Mistress - 
- is unable to create more artwork due to her computer having become a com-pooped-er.
From what I remember her saying, the computer will start in safe mode but trying to do anything with it results in the BSOD - Blue Screen of Death and right now, any help to get her either a used and cheap computer...or even the money to pay for a service to retrieve all of her pictures would be very much appreciated.

Boot the computer while holding F8 to get the Boot Options menu. Instead of starting in safemode, select "repair computer"
If that does not work, then worst comes to worse and you'll have to reinstall the OS (Wipe everything) so make sure they have their boot disk around and they'd boot from CD and... Rest from there is self explanatory.
