It was good but it could have been better. Benedict Cumberbatch was an excellent choice to play the title character. He alone made this movie worth watching. The visuals were good and the fight scenes were very creative, however my complaints are with the other characters. Tilda was good as the ancient one and Wong was good as well. Rachel McAdams plays a character that would have been better off in Thor as Jane Foster, sadly she was given very little to do. As for Baron Mordo, I was hoping that another actor would play this character. Mads Mikkelsen should have been Baron Mordo, but instead he's just another forgettable villain who serves Dormammu. Speaking of which WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO TO DORMAMMU? He looks nothing like the comics, but to be fair at least he's not a cloud like Galactus from rise of the silver surfer. After just watching this movie, I just realized that this movie is a lot like the first Iron Man movie. If they did an Honest Trailer for Dr. Strange, they would talk about how the two movies are the same from beginning to end. I think that this movie is good but I like the animated direct to DVD version better.
