In my latest Dave and Kelly story, the more observant among you may have noticed that Dave is referred to as 18, not 17, and there's a throwaway reference to his birthday.

This is not a mistake. My original plan when I wrote the Kelly's Birthday story was that I'd write a sequel about her brother's birthday within a couple months. That was in November, and here we are in June with no story in sight. So I figured screw it, I'll just pretend it's already out there. So that's what I'm going to do until I finally get around to writing "Dave's Birthday". It just takes place at some point in between Kelly's Birthday and First Date.
