Canada, not this time. D'8

Khroam's Journal:
If you haven't heard. The trip to Canada is canceled :'( and its all my bad.. Everything was going well.. and i didn't bother to get my passport in order.. thinking that i could use ID and proof of citizenship to get out. well i was sorely mistaken.. The messed up thing is i was right up until June 1 2009 !! just 15 days before the trip is when the rule went into effect making Passports the only legal thing. so i went and got one.. but turns out that they normally take 6 weeks and about 150$. you can rush the process for about twice as much but it would still take 3 weeks.
The good news is that i did manage to salvage most of the money i spent on planing the trip.. exception being the rather harsh cancellation fees.
Hoping to reschedule rather soon and get the trip going again. I also have found out that some of my other friends might live on the way and would like a visit? between California and Canada. I'm wondering how many are out there?
(P.S. sry for the late news.. had to do some things before the up date.
[P.S.S ohh a few more updates that you can comment on.. Now have a tummy pouch, turns to naga, and symbiotic pet, umm finally told my parents i was Bi >.=.< ouch.. finally starting to draw.. some.. and big thing.. Lost the WoW spirit :( , Im also going to collage 8D though no fun classes XP ... sry to list all the stuff on the vary end.. thinking about it each one should be its own journal. ])

Yeah my friends all took a trip to Canada a couple days before the whole passport thing, I really need to get myself one now too, since I plan on living there someday

My dad just told me yesterday that processing for US passports have fallen way behind, he said that the normal processing time of six weeks is now twelve, and it's due to the high volume of applications due to that Western Hemisphere travel thing that went into effect June 1st.
And I didn't know you have a symbiotic pet ^.=.^
