Defending Call Of Duty Attacking Nintendo.

Sorry to bring this childish discussion here, but as a veteran gamer i fell i had to say something
My dad sayd me one day, son... don't shut up if people says lies about you, because if you don't shut up these people, their lies are gonna look as truth.
And that's kinda happened to Nintendo, when Call Of Duty fans, (or any fan from a popular franchise) try to defend his games, they alway make the same ass move.
Butt Nintendo releases A LOT of Mario And Zeldas!...,-
so?... your point?..., that's like a murderer saying, but Hitler made the holocaust!.
Also lets play MythBusters a bit (God i miss that show):
There's too many Marios And Zeldas: unlike Call Of Duty, Assassin's Creed, sports games in general..., you're not gonna see an annual Zelda, Hell! no even Mario with his countless spinoffs has released a game every fucking year, for example, we usually see just one mario kart per console generation.
So why there's so many Mario/Zelda Games?:
Because they are franchises with 30 years on their backs?.
They are the same games:
Wrong again!, Mario 64 is not the same as Mario Galaxy, or Mario World, it gives you the impression of playing the same game, because Nintendo didn't betray the core gameplay mechanics, or the main universe, they decided expand the universe, and refined the core gameplay mechanics wen they add new mechanics.
Resume: Don't defend your game attacking others.
Sorry for the long text, i was a videogame journalist many years ago.

Same thing go with Sakurai, who kept Captain Falcon and Ness in fourth Smash Bros. - Ness's story is over, like at least decade ago, and Captain Falcon's all imposter and made up the false moves, all but his "Falcon Punch", which is legal in the cartoon show and is real predator's move in reality world. To be honest, SSB4 is deadmeat and deadbeat - too many clones, too many deadbeat characters that worth nothing to a penny. If I had a preference, it's Melee version. Fewer clones, better challenge to unlocking, right balance of difficult, and the Adventure Mode is still around. Brawl's alright, but unlocking the characters went down the hill. Then coming in SSB4. Sakurai need to get his shit pull together, otherwise, he's a dumb director for SSB series.

And if you enjoyed that piece of shit, then get off my lawn!
Man! the 90's was weird!
haven't played it, but they did make something! the last metroid i played seriously was hunters, and i really liked what they did with the campaign and multiplayer, even if sylux was the most obnoxiously broken hunter ever... i tried to play spire so hard, but in the end i gave in, switched to sylux, and started mauling people
While CoD feels on the other hand very much like you have the same game in front of you with a few cosmetic changes here and there.
Now one one side, it would be nice for Nintendo to add something new to their library of games, but their focus from this point is finding new ways to play games. Which I guess make sit clear that they are trying to stay out of the console wars between Sony and Microsoft (and as primarily a console console fan...I do get tired of that bullshit) One things for sure though, Nintendo to y knowledge seems to be doing fine with what their making. They could try to make some more new stuff as well. But one thing might be true, Cod doesn't look to be trying anything new anytime soon.
Call of duty and the like aren't any better, but people forget that this is a business and much like movies there are studios that just want to make a buck, not wow us.
I'm technically an old gamer now, I've been around when the SNES was new and all, but I don't let nostalgia rose tint my world or views. Having gone back to play older games, I can say that a lot of our mental "masterpieces" weren't as great as we first enjoyed them to be.
Are there amazing old games, that's for certain, but nintendo isn't this peak of godhood that a lot of the fans treat it to be. And what makes it worse in my opinion for Nintendo is that they're both a developer and a publisher.
Example, Ubisoft and Infinity Ward don't make consoles. They don't publish games. They don't distribute games. They're a development team for hire to who ever has the biggest offer. But that comes at a cost, the loss of freedom. Kojima is an example of this, he worked for Konami and made metal gear which is a great series. But for years, he wanted the series to end and make something new but his boss Konami forbade it. Metal gear makes money, make more of that instead they would demand so for him it was either quit and let someone else control his creation or stick around and handle it himself. So he stuck around and made more but eventually did quit and now we're getting Metal Gear Survive.
Now Nintendo doesn't have this problem, Nintendo is both its boss and it's staff. They make games and even the consoles said games are distributed on. So they have complete freedom to do what they want. If they want to spend the next 10 years making phone games, they can. If they want to spend a decade making only new ips, they can. But they don't, not from a lack of freedom bit a fear of loss profits. People are hesitant of the new so not many take the risk. Nintendo knows this, and because of that they release Mario and mario, zelda after zelda, because people love sequels and sequels are safe. It's entirely about money, for both nintendo and smaller developers. So nintendo has thr power to set an example, which they do every 5 years or so, but not enough to really teach the industry that it could do better.
That's one of the reasons why I don't like nintendo, besides their games just never interesting me too much. Do I play call of duty games? Sure, occasionally. I mostly rent them because I know better but I'm willing to give them a shot. Do I play nintendo games? Not really, mostly cause I don't own their consoles anymore besides the 3DS but if they gave me something to be interested in I would.
It's silly in this day and age to limit yourself to one mindset. Oh shooters are bad cause its all gray and blood. Oh nintendo games are bad cause they're meant for kids. It doesn't matter, what matters is what enjoyment you get out of the game. If I can play Call of duty, Pokémon X, Resident Evil, Dragon Ball Z, and smash all in the same month which I have, does that show that I have a bias to any one thing? No, it shows that we can have both and enjoy both without the issues we create for ourselves.
If anything, Nintendo is more or less going Disney: have the franchises that can be milked to be the main money supply while other games are more or less tests for new and incredible things.
And if you do see a shitty game released these days, there's plenty of reviews and opinions on the internet to help you decide if a game is good or not.
Remember that bad games have one redeeming quality. You don't have to play them if you don't want to.
