My dog may have cancer - PLEASE HELP!
I took my dog to the vet yesterday to see about the bump on her leg that is getting worse rather fast.
Based on her age and the fact that it's not itching, she has next to no reaction to it, and it's hard basically points to cancer, the vet said.
The surgery and anesthesia will cost around $240, total, I'm going to skip the biopsy and testing because that would add OVER FIVE HUNDRED dollars to it. The vet also noted that she has lost three pounds, a LOT for a fox terrier. She has been eatting less I've noticed...
If I end up getting enough money she'll get a biopsy too, to find out what it is and where all it may be, but the surgery is the first priority.
It all makes me so sick and depressed to think about.
If you have ANY extra money at ALL please paypal it to deeda10@aol.com, if you would, really, please, I normally refuse to beg for money but if my dog dies or goes into further stages I can't handle it right now, I get paid next week, I can put $100 towards this but I'm still $140 short, and I KNOW I can get $20 of that from my grandma, the rest, I don't see how otherwise...
I'm going to try to take her in for the surgery at the end of next week.
I've had this dog since just before I turned 10, I'm going on 23 now and according to the breed she's got another 5 years, normally. She's my cats best friend, when we raised the cat from a stray kitten in 2005 the dog took such good care of her, they get along so well, I'd hate to see that cat without the dog, even though I know she's old and it will happen it doesn't have to happen any faster.

I had a dog years ago that died of cancer, she had cancer in and on her mouth area, we removed it, it came back, and made her blind in the process, she was put down, and oh do I not ever want to deal with that again. :(
*hugs*
What breed is your dog? Certain breeds have a tendency to get them as they age.
She said it was hard like a tumor so it could be a benign tumor, UGH I HOPE SO. I'm trying to keep my mind off this, but nothing else seems important, she's like a family member...
She is older, she is 13, a fox terrier/rat terrier mix. *sigh* :(
*hugs* stay positive! Animals can feel our moods- so stay positive for her! <3
*huggles and nibbles her ears* I can send a little your ways Kamy dear I hope it helps ^^
Thank you SO much for helping out a bit, seriously!
Also, I thought I still had your sketchbook in my art drawer, did I hand it back at MC and forget?
If I totally forgot that somehow then yeah, mail it back, if you're at AC I can have it done by then.
