Just like the question says, I just want to know which one is the better buy. I'm thinking of getting either one soon and I just have to know, PS3 or Xbox 360?
Xbox 360:
- Live is a far better online system than PSN in terms of population and user friendliness, however you must pay a meager fee.
- Personally I feel that the controller for the 360 is much better than the PS3's.
- Don't fall for all the praise for Halo and Gears of War. Both games are really nothing special. (At least to this jaded gamer) Though they are good buys I guess if you are into multiplayer. Though if you are single player kinda guy, Fable 2 and Mass Effect are good.
Playstation 3:
- The newer PS3s get massive hardrives so you can download movies and games and such without much worry about running out of space.
- PSN is free unlike Live. Also, better for using the internet.
- Exclusives like Lair, Drake's Fortune, and InFamous are actually different from generic games and are good single player games. For multiplayer check out Warhawk and Resistance.
Verdict:
Xbox 360 - Get this one if you just want it for games. Cheaper and easier to just jump right into.
Playstation 3 - If you would like to browse the internet, download movies, and have Blueray, get this one.
Honestly, I find cross platform games such as Red Faction 3 Guerrilla and Battlefield Bad Company (Best for multiplayer) to be better than most exclusives. So don't let exclusives worry you too much.
i ask you a question wich do you perfer most lots of good games or high graphics. i work almost closly with game systems. so far the 360 is in my eyes the better choice
1 you have more games exclusive to it
2 more people have the system
3 though there are problems they arnt as many as the ps3
the ps3
1-12 blue ray
13 few games exclusive to it. but less than 5
14 problems such as if you play to many blu ray the player will not play games . much at all. usually people who own a ps3 have 2 just so they can do gaming and the blu ray.
oh additional info for ps3- all games or at least most require a long download in order to play usually consumignits hardrive faster than you would like.
Naw, it's fine Hex. I just thought i'd get some more opinions first. ;)

I had heard from several people that the PS3 is glitchy somewhat.
Thanks for the info friend.
