Democracy Defended (I Voted)

Today, as a citizen of the United States of America, I honored my responsibility and voted at the polls. Whatever the final results may be, I at the very least turned out to sound my voice in civic matters and at least in that regard, helped defend democracy from it's nemesis, voter apathy. This has been a grueling election year, but whatever the results, I did not contribute to making the problem worse.

*laughs* I don't vote for Presidential elections. But I do vote for city and state matters. The president is more or less a figure head and the other branches run it... We're really only voting for the face of our country.
