We have all of those but bears, coyotes and the 2nd amendment. We do have dingoes though, but mainly up north. And they're cuter.

We have our own version of rednecks, which we call them Bogans. There not as rednecky but you'll usually find them in rural or dodgy places.

The majority of Christians in Australia are a lot more relaxed, being an active one myself. Obviously you'll find them anywhere in the world, but here you don't have anywhere near as much, who bible thump or hate different communities and such like over there. Which is good. We're pretty accepting of people.

I love our possums over here, they are awesome. Especially the ringtails.

There is now a storm brewing in my home, a fight between those of us who want to head to Australia and those who want to bail for Finland, where we've been offered a spare room and a couch to crash on.

Whoever wins, we're just hoping the medical system where we go isn't a complaint joke the way it is here.

Sad to see you not coming top visit us...but what would be truely tragic is that people will be giving up on the US. And if they do then the USA will truely die. because no one will be here to support it. I for one would rather not let my home a coun try that has stood for 200+ plus years fall apart! So instead of being rats that abandon a sinking ship, try to patch up what is making that ship sink instead of leaving those of us who can't leave our home to lose it.

I probably wouldn't have the money to anyway. But if he's only there for 4 years, or gets impeached earlier or something. I may be there sooner, who knows.

I understand why you would not like having lots of people leave your country. It's not good for any country if it happens. But there are a lot of Latino and Muslim people in the US, and it could affect them pretty badly. Even for the LGBT and African-American communities, this is not too positive for them either.

Most of the population live along the coastal areas, so you wouldn't be exposed to a lot of our dangerous creatures. But you'd still have all the annoying ones to deal with XP

Lol it has become obvious the majority of the fandom are democrats, and here I am celebrating that I don't have to worry about losing my job anymore and neither does the rest of my entire town :D

I don't think it's much to do with anything about what party people in the fandom support matey. There are a few people over in America, whom are also in the fandom, that I know usually follow the Republicans quite strongly. This election they voted for one of the other parties, simply because of Trump and what this could mean for them, each to their own with general or personal reasons.

It's not surprising that a lot of people in this fandom (who are Americans at the very least) don't like Trump. Basically for the reason that him coming into power, could have a potentially negative effect on a large portion of people within the community. Especially those who are LGBT or of particular backgrounds and cultures, some of those who are quite worried for their well-being at the moment. And I think some people are more worried about their friends and family, and their well-beings over their jobs.

Yeah that does actually make a lot of sense. It was just with me, my families, friends, and basically everyone I know's well being is better served by Trump. But that is because I live in a coal reliant town of 9000 people. As well is most of the towns around me. Our economy has already been ravaged under Obamas rule with hundreds, if not a thousand plus of us have already been laid off. I could very well see my area lose all source of income if Hillary were to be next to make it even worse. I am really not in to politics so I honestly don't know much else about either of them but that was all that was needed to get my vote

As far as I know, Obama wasn't that all into the idea of coal burning. The reason why, I wouldn't know. I live on another end of the planet from the US. Trump I know does, but I don't know who its going to affect, both good and bad.
If it does well for you town though, that's one positive you can take at least. But not too many people are looking positive in the long run though.

That's more so asylum seekers, who try to sneak in through boats. We've put a big foot down on those guys coming in.

Immigration is usually pretty good over here, which is why we're known as one of the world's most multi-cultural countries.
