im amazed that my entire journal section ends up in 90% paranoia and panic, obama was seen horrible for years then everyone likes him in the end, i liked seeing people turn on each other tbh since it was entertaining, sure ive lost people over this as well but not anyone significant, honest i could care less who does what as long as i wake up in the morning not dead.

It was fun to watch up until violence and riots started happening. Then I was just disgusted.

funnier is how when you comment on some peopls journals you get chastised and then they disable comments to stop the butthurt

Or all out stuck you for not holding the same opinion. What gets me upset is when people are willfully ignorant.

Kinda like the SJWs who protest something they don't like, but when asked to explain themselves they either spit out cliche buzzwords or refuse to comment. Or when they get Debunked, go into full rage mode.

I didn't hold a high opinion for any of the candidates, and even held serious thoughts about just putting in a write-in for my vote. Even then, in the end I compromised and voted for someone I didn't like, because I didn't like the other person even more. Spite is a big motivator, perhaps too big.

All I can say is, if Trump turns out to be a disaster, which I think he will be, I hope you own up to it and not try to make excuses for him. The House and Senate belongs to the Republicans and because Obama has been such a pussy about playing hardball and his Supreme Court Justice nominee that he was well within his right to appoint, they'll have complete control over the Supreme Court to. So everything that happens from here on out, be it good or bad, is on Trump and his party. And unlike with Bush in 2000 to 2008, it will be rather difficult for anyone to hide their past support for a candidate due to just how far the internet has come since then. Hell, even in 2008 nowhere near as many people published their political views online.

Are you going to attack and slander me if he flops? Because if Hillary won and she turned out to be the demon I thought she was, I wouldn't blame you, because it's not my call to pass judgment like that. To say this is kinds of rude, because be could end up being the greatest, or the worst. Even a candidate that seemed perfect could end up completely screwing over people. You also need to understand the president has limits and could get over ruined by congress and the Senate.

I own up to the fact that at this election time, I voted for the candidate I felt was best. To hold that against me after 4 years and something goes wrong is very just.

Of course not, I just kinda got fed up with both sides acting like either one of them are gonna be a messiah. Sure it was to a much lesser extent on Hillary's side (hence why she lost) with people acting like the first woman president with somehow change everything. Hell I voted for Obama eight years ago and I hardly had high expectations of him at all (didn't vote in 2012, like much of America), and with him leaving office with a 40% approval rating, I can pretty much say that he was more or less what I expected, though his constant kowtowing to corporate interests did piss me off.

Anyway, I'm not talking about shaming you or anyone else who supported Trump four years from now. That I would only reserve for his most vitriolic supporters, none of whom, I'm happy to say, I know personally because, let's be honest, those halfwits you see at those rallies only represent a small minority of Trump's base. But do keep in mind that the shakeup the right has experienced this past year will undoubtedly affect the left in 2020. I doubt the people will let the DNC force a Biden or Michelle Obama onto them just as the Right didn't let the RNC force a Rubio or a Bush onto them this year.
