I voted Hillary

thats fine too, I've just seen a lot of people threatening Trump voters and even though a lot of them may have done for a dodgy reason like they want "the wall" I know some genuinely thought it was the best bet for a war free future. So i figured I'd give my piece on it

I voted trump. But you don't see me dropping friends left and right because of their voting choices. Lot of my Hillary ex friends seem to be doing that to me and it's rather annoying. Just shows they were never really my friend to begin with sadly

I'd never do that, I'll argue over politics but I am yet to unfriend someone over them

This is why our country has problems in the first place. For no matter who someone supported, it's no reason to start riots, make death threats, or whatever else. All those things cause even more problems then whatever they thought acting out would solve.

I understand people are upset, but what's done is done and we have to move forward from here. And it's either going to end in finding ways to have their voices be heard, or start a civil war and yet say "see I was saying this would happen!".

I think the potential of violence is what scares me most, sadly I've been able to see why other countries call us Americunts with how uncivilized a lot of people can be. Many people are impatient, unforgiving, and closed minded. Meaning while everyone is still hurting things are going to get bad..

I'm already planning on doing like a preper and staying underground for the next four years lol.

oh don't worry i want to make a bunker myself lol. I feel like with this election it was either violence or violence and there was really no way to stop it.
The best thing we can do right now is endure any negative impacts together. fighting will only make it worse.

I really couldn't, there were no choices I were for.
The cons outweighed the pros for me, so I chose against it.

If Bernie was in it, that would be my guy.
I am scared and sad, all in all.

I think people would feel the same no matter who won, you really got to chose between a turd and a turd sandwich. Some have been saying that Hillary and the DNC rigged the primarys which is a real shame, because if they hadn't Bernie would have gotten in (or at least in my opinion he would have)

I don't support either candidate. Neither of them are fit to run this country nor should they ever have been allowed to set foot near the White House. Trump is on trial for child rape and Hillary should be in prison for her email scandals. We now have a rapist as president, all I have to say is good job America.

For me personally, I did tell people to unfriend me on Facebook if they voted for Trump because that shows me that they do not care about LGBT people and they support him trying to get rid of basic human rights for people who are not straight and white. I don't want those kind of people in my life so it's not just the fact that they are voting for a person I don't like, it's the fact that they are voting for a person who wants to take away my basic human rights because I am LGBT. That's what it's about for me. Not trying to argue, just hoping to maybe give you a different point of perspective to the whole if you support this person then unfriend me thing.

thing is though, Trump cannot do anything without a legitimate reason to do so and even if he tried supreme court would in most cases block it, plus any laws he passes can be revoked by the next president. I do not believe that the LGBT way of life is going to change, but there is always a 10% chance it may.
I feel like racial tension is the issue people need to be most concerned about, he may not build a wall but some of his supporters are rather aggressive.

With that all being said there were rumors that Hillary being elected would have caused a war to break out between Russia and the US, this would have been catastrophic for my country too because we are a U.S ally, who Russia hates. We also do not have any nuclear weapons, so we would not be able to defend ourselves should a nuclear war break out.
This means my partner could be drafted, and worst case scenario my family could die.

Anything the US does has an impact on my country, the difference between us is should all hell break lose here, there are no neighboring countries we can escape to.

And while I hate Trump, I don't believe people all voted for him because of their LGBT opinions. A lot of people did not know of his policies for the LGBT community, we cannot risk allowing them to hate members of the LGBT community simply because of a lapse in judgement. It will only strengthen the divides this has caused even more.
Thats why I won't be deleting his supporters. We need to stick together if we want to be sure everyone makes it through this

It's impossible not to know trumps views on LGBT people........... he very openly stated them multiple times. A nuclear war with Russia would actually kill off the USA quickly. And no, actually each president of the United States is allowed to remove and approve the members of the Supreme Court that he wants, Obama did that and Trump has made it clear that he plans to do that as well so that whole argument of it needs to go through the Supreme Court is not really valid. Because he will and has said that he will hire members of the Supreme Court that have conservative values. People do not realize how stupid they were to vote for him. I'm glad I don't have anyone who supports him in my life. Who you vote for shows your values and morals as a person. If catastrophic events happen which they will, then I'm going to laugh and point at the Trump supporters and tell them that they deserve this because they voted for him. Whether you realize it or not, he plans to use nuclear weapons just because he can and he wants to start dropping bombs on people for no reason so a draft and World War III are completely in evitable with him in office. I would rather go through a nuclear war opposed to having my basic human rights and protections taken away and the killing of my LGBT brothers and sisters made illegal with no consequences.
